Supercast’s Patreon Migration Tool provides a red carpet experience for your loyal Patrons, giving them a individualized migration experience that takes into account:
Subscribers are contacted by you via email, Patreon post, discord message, etc (Supercast’s migration tool does not initiate contact in any way) and are provided with the link to the migration page.
The subscriber sees a welcome message and logs in with their Patreon account.

The subscriber sees their individual offers, credits and plan offers, and is asked to select one and pay to activate their Supercast subscription.
Supercast pre-populates the name and email sign-up fields with the information we retrieved from their Patreon account.
If subscribers are currently on an annual plan, they’ll only see annual plan options. Monthly subscribers will see both monthly and annual options.
In most cases subscribers will be part way through their billing period and after applying a credit for unused time on Patreon, will be asked to pay the pro-rata difference to cover the month/year going forward. Today will be their new billing date on Supercast.

If a subscriber has enough credit to cover the entire bill, they will still be required to enter a credit card but there will be $0 to pay upfront. Any remaining credit will be applied to subsequent bills.
We automatically match their current pledge on Patron, they have the option to select the grandfathered Supercast price on the checkout page.

Alternatively, the promotion scenario could look something like this.

The subscriber receives an email from Supercast reminding them to cancel their Patreon subscription to avoid double billing, with subsequent reminders if we detect that they still haven’t cancelled. This is optional, but strongly encouraged.
Migration format
Credit - apply credit based on unused time on their Patreon subscription
Reminder emails - Post-migration we send reminder emails to cancel on Patreon to prevent double billing.

Connect your Patreon account to your Supercast account. This will automatically import your list of Patrons from Patreon so that we can retrieve the relevant information about them. Depending on the amount of Patrons it can take a couple hours to fully pull everything the first time.

Contact your Patrons via various channels (email, Patreon etc) to let them know you’re moving to Supercast and providing the link to your Supercast migration page. We recommend starting with a test batch to allow for feedback and fine-tuning.
Monitor the overall status of your migration, as well as each individual (eligible, viewed offer, migrated) on your Supercast migration page.
